What yarn bases do you carry?

I can pretty much order in any base you'd like! I do carry a good amount of stock on my classic bases: sock, dk, worsted, bulky, and super bulky.  Sometimes I have speciality yarn such as mohair, tweed or stellina in stock. Feel free to send me an email at info@seatoskydesigns.ca if a listing isn't carrying the base you are hoping to order and I can see how quickly I can get that in.

Will my yarn look exactly like your photos?

Colours may vary based on the nature of hand-dyed yarn and monitor settings.  Also each base takes/absorbs dye a little bit differently even using the same dye techniques.  I do my best to replicate as close to the original as possible. I would explain it as "expect one hank to another hank in the same colorway to look like sisters - not identical twins".

Can you cake my yarn?

Since Sea to Sky Designs is a one woman show I no longer offer this complimentary service as it can add a significant amount of time to my already lengthly process of dyeing yarn.  If you do not have a yarn winder there are many youtube tutorials that can show you how to make your hank into a ball.

I live locally - can I pick up my items?

If you live local and would like to pick up please send me an email at info@seatoskydesigns.ca prior to place your order. 

How long does it take for my order to ship?

Please refer to the header announcement to see the current turnaround time for custom orders.  Ready to ship orders will ship within 3-5 business day from purchase unless custom orders were purchased during the same checkout.  In that event, ready to ship items will ship along with the custom orders based on the current turnaround times found in the header announcement.

Does my shipped order include tracking?

CANADA - All parcels shipped within Canada are shipped via Canada Post, UPS, or Purolator and include tracking. Calculated shipping options available at checkout. Free shipping on orders $250 or over before taxes.

UNITED STATES: Parcels will be shipped via Canada Post, UPS or USPS. Tarrifs are calculated at checkout and is 16-35% depending on the undyed wool's country of origin is. Canada Post small packet does not include tracking.

EUROPE/AUSTRALIA: All parcels ship via Canada Post. Calculated shipping options available at checkout. Small packet does not include tracking.

What is your return policy?

Items are non-refundable. Please make sure you are ordering correctly and reach out with any questions prior to placing your order. If there is an error on my part, please send an email to info@seatoskydesigns.ca so I can rectify it right away. 

PLEASE NOTE: All pieces are created by hand, so no two items are identical. Please allow for slight variances from what is shown in the photos. I try very hard to accurately represent my product through photographs and description however the colour of the image can vary widely from one computer monitor to another.
